I got facebooked an after concert photo taken by the organisers of our gig in Eindhoven, so here it is.

Concerts in Eindhoven last December

Ian Watt and I also gave a recital in Eindhoven, in the Phillips Hall, in mid December on the weekend after our return to China. The programme was basically the same one given in China, and again it seemed to be a success, so we were pleased with how it went. We will return in April to perform 3 times in different spots, and give a class or two in a local school. More details of this will be put up later.

Yeah, so Ian and I, back in I think November played to the Duo Lisme as part of a masterclass in the RSAMD. So they were really nice and took to our playing for some reason, then dedicated one of their pieces in their concert that evening to us. Which was embarrasing of course, but flattering also.

Anyway, about a month and a half on we got invited to perform in the Netherlands as part of a young artists programme. So we will play for an hour there in December this year. I think it is either the 17th or the 13th.

I forget the order of the programme, but I know that I am playing Rodrigo’s Treis Piezas Espanolas, and Ian is playing Bach Violin Sonata (on guitar). As a duet we will play the Tango Suite by Piazzolla and also Giuliani’s Variazioni Concertante. I think that programme is definite.
