To be found here. Seems we were well received 🙂 The morning recital at the Royal Over-Seas Legion was exquisite and perhaps proves once and for all that there is a great deal of truth in the old housewives saying that ‘the early bird catches the worm.’ Despite their youth, both Jun Sasaki and Sean [...]

Bobby’s Classical Guitar Space
Just a wee link to a blog concerning classical guitar in Scotland, it's pretty decent and basically sums up a lot (if not all) of what's going on in Scotland in the guitar world. http://bobbysclassicalguitarspace.blogspot.com/
Wow some interesting links here
My friend emailed me a page from the NY times on piano competitions, but it's all relevant to guitar competitions. I mean it's pretty obvious, but people forget how it's so very hard to become well known unless you've won a few of these. These guys who win are a particular type of player - [...]
New Aberdeen date now in Forthcoming Concerts
A wee thingy in Aberdeen that I'm doing at the end of next month. It's the North-East Classical Guitar Society AGM and they always have someone from the Academy play there.
3rd year Performance exam date
I'm playing in the Guinness room on Monday 9th May, 1510, for the performance exam of this year. The external examiner is Paul Gregory. Not sure what I'll play yet but it'll come to me.
A few old photos I found
These are a selection of publicity pictures that I found on my email, might as well stick them up here. Most (or all) of these are by Kenneth Dundas. Also one I found from one of the concerts given in Holland this January.
I hear we made around £1700
In the Charity concert of last Sunday. Was a nice affair, good baking.

Evening news article
I featured in a wee side-article in the Evening News here. They interviewed me the other day, although I probably didn't say anything interesting enough to be mentioned. Although come to think of it, since I was interviewed on the details of a competition that were going to be published for public consumption, there wasn't [...]
Updated upcoming concerts page
I've put some details of some concerts that I have coming up, a solo recital in Kent in a few months and a wee engagement with the Scottish Flute Trio in June.
