Yeah so I played and got to the final and won 2nd prize which was a surprise but hey ho you know it’s all good. It’s a really nice festival though, and I had masterclasses with Alvaro Pierri and Dieter Kreidler. Kreidler was on the jury along with Dale Kavanagh, Stephan Hackl, Carlo Domeniconi, Jorge Cardoso and Michael Buchrainer. It’s odd though because in Switzerland the travel system is so easy to work out and in Scotland it’s not so.
Flights delayed as well, on both sides of the journey, so bit of a nightmare, but it’s a couple of weeks before I must play again so I think I can rest awhile.
